# Hyperwave > Hyperwave (hyperwave.app) is a browser-based node-graph wavetable generator: build tables visually and export packed WAV files that load into Serum, Vital, and wavetable-capable hardware. Not affiliated with Blamsoft Expanse Hyperwave or Roland SDZ004 Hyperwave. - Browser-based node-graph wavetable generator: tables are designed and rendered entirely in the browser, then exported as packed wavetable WAV files. - Export container: RIFF/WAVE WAV with "fmt " and "data" chunks, written with a canonical 44-byte header (16-byte fmt chunk). - Sample format: IEEE float (format tag 3) by default — 32-bit samples, 4 bytes each, 1 channel (mono); 16-bit PCM WAV is a direct export option for classic hardware banks. - Header sample rate: 48,000 Hz by default (44,100 Hz selectable). - Frame layout: single-cycle frames packed end-to-end in one data chunk, in wavetable order. - Documented import targets: 36 total — 19 software, 13 hardware, 4 modular/Eurorack — of which 36 are verified against Hyperwave's export code or the manufacturer's own documentation. -
