Wavetable bank

A wavetable bank is a grouped collection of wavetables that an instrument loads together and offers under a single browser or selector.

Banks keep a library of related tables together — factory content, a sound designer's series, or genre packs — so switching tables is one selection rather than a file load. In some instruments the word also covers multi-dimensional wavetables, where a second axis chooses between sub-tables that can be scanned or blended independently of the main position.
