Wavetable frame size calculator.

Wavetable math, straight arithmetic: choose a documented target layout — Serum's 2,048 × 256, Vital's 2,048-sample frames, the Novation Peak's 5 × 512 user slot — or type your own samples-per-frame and frame count. The calculator totals the samples, the float32 mono byte count, the on-disk WAV size with its 44-byte RIFF header, and how long one frame plays at 44.1 kHz versus 48 kHz. Frame length is fixed in samples, so a table designed for 48 kHz playback plays about a semitone and a half flat at 44.1 kHz — the duration column makes that difference visible.

Table2,048 × 256 frames = 524,288 mono samples
Sample data2.00 MB (2,097,152 bytes, float32 mono, without header)
WAV file size2.00 MB (2,097,196 bytes, including the 44-byte RIFF/fmt/data header)
One frame lasts46.44 ms at 44,100 Hz · 42.67 ms at 48,000 Hz (selected)
Whole table lasts10.923 s at 48,000 Hz
