- Is Hyperwave free?
- Yes. The Web edition is free, including the node graph, local presets, audio preview, WAV export and batch collection export. You don't need an account. Native is planned and Cloud is a future option; see the pricing page for their status.
- Can Hyperwave create waveforms from scratch and control harmonics and phase?
- Yes. Use oscillator, noise, additive, curve and math sources. Additive controls and Spectral Graph let you work with harmonic amplitude and phase; Spectral Graph also exposes harmonic position.
- Can Hyperwave import audio and resynthesize it?
- Yes. It imports browser-decodable audio as fixed-size wavetable slices. To Spectral and To Signal provide spectral conversion and resynthesis for further processing. Audio import does not automatically detect pitch cycles or perform vocoder-style conversion.
- Can Hyperwave morph between frames?
- Yes. Wavetable Index drives parameters through curves and math, and Mix and spectral operations generate transitions between sources. You can audition the sequence with the frame scan.
- Does Hyperwave generate wavetables from text prompts?
- Hyperwave has no built-in text-prompt or text-to-speech wavetable model. A compatible AI assistant connected through MCP can turn a request into an editable node graph, collaborate in a temporary session and render the result.
- Can I use Hyperwave wavetables in a DAW?
- Yes. Export a packed WAV and load it into a compatible wavetable synth or sampler in your DAW, including Serum and Vital. Hyperwave's available edition runs in a browser; it is not a released VST, AU or CLAP plugin. Hardware requirements are listed in the import guides.
