What Deluge expects
Official firmware 4.0+ (April 2022) added wavetable synthesis: WAV/AIFF files (16/24-bit 44.1 kHz preferred, up to 32-bit 96 kHz) loaded from SD card; wavetable-formatted files are recognized automatically and assigned oscillator TYPE 'WAVEtable'. Files under 20 ms are treated as single-cycle.
Step by step
- Export from Hyperwave as a packed mono WAV.
- Copy it to the Deluge's SD card.
- Load it as a synth oscillator — the Deluge recognizes the wavetable format and sets the oscillator type.
Export settings for Deluge
Deluge has no dedicated export preset in Hyperwave.
The documented preference is 16/24-bit WAV at 44.1 kHz (up to 32-bit 96 kHz accepted), with wavetable-formatted files recognized automatically. Hyperwave's 16-bit export at the 44,100 Hz header setting matches that preference exactly.
