How to import wavetables into Iridium / Quantum

What Iridium / Quantum expects

On-instrument 'Import from .wav' builds wavetables from .wav/.aiff files with a constant sample period configurable from 64 to 4,096 samples (2,048 is called out as the common choice); user wavetables load, save, and exchange via microSD or USB storage.

Step by step

1. Export from Hyperwave as a packed mono WAV with a frame size between 64 and 4,096 samples (2,048 is the common choice and Hyperwave's default).
2. Move the WAV to the instrument over USB or place it on microSD storage.
3. On the instrument, run Import from .wav and set the sample period to match your exported frame size.

If something goes wrong

The instrument refused my 8,192-sample frames.

The import's sample period tops out at 4,096 samples — export at 4,096 or below.

My file sliced at the wrong length on the instrument.

Set the on-instrument sample period to your exported frame size; a mismatched period slices the file at the wrong length.

Export settings for Iridium / Quantum

Iridium / Quantum has no dedicated export preset in Hyperwave — the default preset ("Default — 2048 × 256") writes 2,048 samples per frame, 256 frames, mono 32-bit float, and matches the layout documented above.
